Who We Are

About the Program

UC Davis competes in the North Division of the West Coast Hockey Conference (WCHC) of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). Founded in the late 80's, the Aggies have a long history of playing against local schools including Santa Clara, Stanford, and Reno.

The Aggies welcome players looking to continue at a high level as well as newcomers to the sport eager to learn. We have 3 teams: an A team competing in the ACHA, a B team competing in the VAHL, and a practice squad. All teams practice and play from September through February. The team is entirely run and funded by its own players, relying on self-funding and community donations.

Schedule & Results

The Aggies play their home games at Vacaville Ice Sports on the Davis rink. Friday games start at 9pm, Saturdays at 8:15pm, and Sundays at 8:00am. All home games are free admission and outside food and drinks are allowed. Games highlighted in gold are league games. For B team info, visit this link.

Conference Standings

Current WCHC standings. Each team has 12 league games against WCHC opponents that count towards their final tally. Wins are worth 2 pts, losses in overtime are worth 1. Top 8 teams advance to a single elimination playoff tournament. The winner of this tournament advances to the ACHA M3 National tournament.
